DAN "The Beast" SEVERN



Daniel Dewayne Severn was born on June 8th 1958, in Coldwater Michigan. He uses a wrestling based fighting style to submit his opponents and to take advantage of grappling and the ground aspect of the sport. Severn made his UFC debut in the evernt titled UFC 4, although he lost to Royce Gracie his skill as a wrestler was evident. He was one of the first wrestling style fighters to breach the UFC and was very successful throughout his long bout in the league. Severn did not wish too be left behind in the sport so he started training in other styles of fighting including judo and ju-jitsu.

Severn would test the waters of the WWF and remained there for several years. Severn was known for his undeniable skill and for his good intentions. He established a 10 000 square foot training facility in Coldwater that would house many great fighters. Severn also introduced many great fighters to the UFC including Dan Fyre a fellow Hall of Famer. Severn brought much more to the game then just skill and will always be remembered for his contributions.
